I made a bad mistake when I attempted to repair my own Heating, Ventilation & A/C system! I thought I would be able to figure it out since I usually am able to solve things on my own, and well, I found out the difficult way that Heating, Ventilation & A/C systems are not straightforward to take care of. When I opened my Heating, Ventilation & A/C program unit, the first mistake I made was not shutting the power off to it. When I was tinkering around with everything with my tools, there was an electric jolt & then the power shut off in my whole home. I wasn’t able to get the power to turn back on at all. I called the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation, but when I told them what happened, they said I had to get an electrician out to the lake house before anything else. So I called an electrician, then the guy thought I was undoubtedly foolish for trying to repair my own Heating, Ventilation & A/C program when I wasn’t even Heating, Ventilation & A/C certified. He explained that these guys have to go to college for this type of work. He also let me think that I was lucky that I didn’t kill myself through electrocution, and you could say that I was humbled by this experience & I was really feeling lucky to be alive. When the electrician was able to restore my power, he said to typically shut off the power when attempting to work on anything with electricity. He said he hoped I wouldn’t be stupid enough to attempt something like that again in the future though. I told him I wouldn’t, & he was on his way, and now I was able to call the Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker out to my lake house & he was able to repair everything separate from a hassle. He made it look so easy.
