Cheap air filters could only hold so much dirt plus debri, which meant that they needed to be substituted frequently, more high-priced air filters were thicker plus better quality, meaning they didn’t need to be substituted nearly as often, not only this, but they were better at picking up dirt plus debri. Now, I look for quality over price when purchasing my air filters.
