Trying to figure out some type of workout while on vacation

Anytime I head off on vacation, I make certain to choose a site where I can work out.

I prefer to have some type of fitness center with equipment to utilize.

There are all types of workout rooms. I have found state-of-the-art centers at hotels and cramped equipment rooms. A gym usually means I have access to weight lifting machines and a few types of cardio equipment. With a health club, I expect a yoga studio or maybe even a swimming or lap pool. That is one of the only times I can depend on having a locker room and a shower. A fitness center usually means lots of machines all crammed into very little square footage. On vacation, I accept whatever I can get. I love visiting foregin countries and driving through different towns. When I am in a larger city, I expect to have some type of facility available for my workouts. I hope for a pool, spa, sauna or a hot tub. When I stay in little towns during my vacation and sleep at smaller motels, I rarely find any workout facility. I hope to find a location that has plenty of lawn outside or a designated running path. I usually try yoga or jumping rope right outside of my hotel. It helps me to feel safe and secure by being right near my room. It is not the greatest work out since I am at the mercy of the outdoor elements and usually barefoot in the grass. When I travel, I expect to make sacrifices in order to work out.
