I have been trying real hard to save money on energy use. And that starts with the use of my central heating and air conditioning system unit. Did you know that central heating and air conditioning systems are the number one cause of super high electric bills? It’s true! I actually did not know either until recently. This is why my new goal is to use portable heating and air conditioning equipment to help in my task to use my central heating and cooling unit a lot less. Portable space heaters and portable air conditioning systems take up much less energy than a central heating and air conditioning system unit. And they do a great job at heating and cooling whatever rooms they are in. So this is what I did. I went out and bought both a portable air conditioning system as well as a portable space heater. It is winter right now so I am using the portable space heater in conjunction with my central heating and air conditioning system’s heater. It is working out great. In the first month alone I saved almost half off what I regularly have been paying in monthly electric bills this time of the year. The way this is working out, I can only imagine how good the portable air conditioning system will help me once the very hot summer months roll along and arrive. I really spend a lot of money on my electric bills that time of the year usually!
