Using some heating and air conditioning

My partner is a bit of a clean freak.

He’s not obsessively compulsive about it, however he runs a tight ship in our house when it comes to making sure that virtually every surface is cleaned as often as possible.

On the one hand, I cannot complain because it’s nice that he has that attention to detail and cares so deeply about keeping our house pristine. On the other hand, I know he goes overboard sporadically. Anyway, there is one thing that I disagree with concerning what makes a house cleaner. When he decides it’s time to clean the whole house constantly on a weekend and when it’s a particularly nice day outside, he enjoys opening the doors and the windows to let the fresh air and sun in. I understand why he enjoys doing that, as he thinks that fresh air and sun are the best cleaning agents out there. However, I have explained to him in the past that he has let in all the dust and allergens that can clog up our Heating and Air Conditioning system and make our air quality decrease. I have studied that it is best for your Heating and Air Conditioning system and the air quality of your house to easily abstain from leaving doors and windows open for an extended period of time. I understand that fresh air is nice, however it easily pollutes the air of the house quite a lot. It sounds crazy, although I know it’s true! Your Heating and Air Conditioning system ends up having to labor harder once you shut all the doors and windows and crank it back up. I suggested to my partner that my associate and I invest in a whole home air cleaner instead of opening windows and doors, however he was convinced of doing it his way.
