Wanting the heater looked at

I’m a pretty old-fashioned person when it comes down to it.

  • I actually like cutting wood for my fireplace and using it like the old days! However, I do have a heating unit that runs on boiling-hot water to keep warm, as I’m not constantly up for staying awake to start a fire! The radiator is my heating system in my place and it is composed of numerous radiators – one on the first floor in my family room, plus the other on the next floor in the hallway between my bedroom plus bathroom, since there’s numerous radiators all around in the house, the boiler in the basement tends to work very much double-time to keep both systems running, however it doesn’t constantly work completely well without a hitch! Recently, I had to pay some pretty large bucks to get my boiler repaired, as well as the piping leading to the radiators themselves.

That’s the thing – no one ever tells you that using a radiator means you have to keep antifreeze in the pipes themselves! I left home for a few days for a work-related trip out of town, plus it totally slipped my mind to put the chemicals into my pipes for that time; When I came home, I had a very large mess to clean up. Water destruction to your house is no joke! Well, I suppose it’s really a nice thing that I don’t mind cutting up wood to keep a fire going in my fireplace. After the extensive repair bills I ended up getting for the radiators as well as the boiler, plus the cleanup costs from the water destruction to the floors of my home, I’ll be sticking to a fireplace as my heat source for a very long time to come in the future!
