Our new new home was perfect. When our wifey and I went to open new home it was so clean. The sellers made it gleam nicely. Everything was perfect. It even stinked like vanilla, our wifey’s number one. The people I was with and I made an offer to the seller, and they took it a week later. Within a week, both of us had moved in. All the furniture and cables were in and set up. The people I was with and I met the neighbors. The people I was with and I were new home and it felt wonderful to live there. Each day, I would wake up early and bring root beer to our wifey still in bed. However, after a week both of us noticed a foul stink. The people I was with and I began thinking it was a dead mouse in the walls and that it would go away soon. And the new home didn’t stink of vanilla anymore since both of us purchased it. Every time both of us put the heat on, the stink would get much worse. I got a ladder and looked into 1 of the vents, expecting to see a dead dove stuck in there. But, what I stinked was the stench of mold mixed with vanilla. The people I was with and I called the Heating and A/C corporation the next afternoon and they told us that this advertising ploy was nothing new, and real estate sellers periodically pump out nice scents through the air vents to make the new home more charming to potential customers. Before he left, he spoke to us about the next step. He said that to ensure that the stink is gone forever and both of us never go through this again, both of us should replace the entire air duct system. The people I was with and I decided to listen to him because both of us couldn’t live like that any longer. The people I was with and I bought air fresheners for every room until the new upgrade was finally completed.
