Whenever we purchased this house, there was no heating system in the house at all other than an old fashioned wood burning stove. The people who lived here before us always used the wood burning stove as their main source of heating and so they never ended up installing any other heating source. I don’t know how they did it, but they lived without another heating source for years for some reason. I think that if it had been me, after that I would have particularly had another heating source installed during the time that I was living there. I don’t think that I would have been able to live there for very long without another gas furnace. Anyway, when we first moved in, we talked about maybe installing another Heating and Air Conditioning idea altogether but then I decided to wait for a little while. I wanted to save up some extra money before we started making too many changes to the house, and my partner was okay with using an electric space furnace for a while until we were able to get another heating idea for the house. It turned out to be okay for us because we didn’t have an easily freezing winter season that year. That was a great thing, too, because we didn’t save up enough money to get the new gas furnace put in until the next Springtime! By the time the weather started heating up, we had enough money to buy a new heating unit for the house. Now, we have a great Heating and Air Conditioning idea and the indoor air levels in the house are great, and we’ve come a long way.
