I am tired of dealing with all of the cold spots in our house.
My feet are so cold here during the winter that sometimes I put a fire in the fireplace just so I can thaw my frozen feet out next to it.
I complain about it to my husband all the time, which drives him crazy. He always rolls his eyes and tells me that he’s not an HVAC professional so he doesn’t know what to tell me about our no good furnace system or our ventilation system. And of course, I know good and well that he is not a heating and cooling professional, but he could at least call our local HVAC company to see if they could find out why there are cold spots all over our house. Sometimes I have to plug in a space heater in our bedroom just to get my feet warm enough so I can fall asleep. The cold spots are getting out of control around here if you ask me. Now that it’s wintertime and the weather is cooling down even more, I know that the cold spots are going to start getting even worse. I hate the idea of getting up in the morning and putting my feet on the freezing cold floors. It would be a different story if we had radiant heated flooring, but we don’t! My husband just keeps procrastinating about calling the HVAC company and I’m tired of waiting and dealing with the cold spots. That’s why I finally gave up and called our local HVAC company myself. My husband will probably be annoyed that I did that but at this point I don’t really care!
