We didn’t have a huge camper, but the heating and A/C system was going to be more expensive than my buddy and I expected to pay. We visited several RV dealerships hoping to find a suitable heating and A/C system, but my buddy and I found nothing. It took us almost a month before my buddy and I located an actual heating and A/C system that would work for our camper. We traveled over a hundred miles to a supplier that was in another state. He showed us what he had and provided to install the heating and A/C system while my buddy and I were there. When he removed the seasoned heating and A/C system, he frowned. He wanted to know why my buddy and I were installing a new one. We told him the owner had told us the heating and A/C system was broken. He updated the air filter and repaired a broken wire he found in the electrical system. It cost us twenty-five dollars for the air filter and ten dollars for the wire. He said he wanted nothing for the labor. He told us the heating and A/C system was only a couple of years old, and whatever my buddy and I paid for the camper, my buddy and I got an excellent deal. When my hubby told him my buddy and I paid less for the camper than what my buddy and I were prepared to pay for the heating and A/C system, the guy laughed. He definitely said he wished he could get a deal like that someday.
