I am not a traditional girl when it comes to getting married, but all my friends did the big colorless, wedding with the flowers, tons of bridesmaids and a live band, for me, I wanted to do something small from the comfort of my own home.
My house has a big backyard with tons of flowers, i wanted to get married right there and only have close friends and family at it.
Afterwards, every one of us could grill outside and hang around inside if the weather did not permit outdoor fun. The snag I had was trying to find a wonderful location to do the actual ceremony. My yard was big, but the lawn was not so great. The ground was uneven, mostly sand and would look bad in the photos. I thought that my future spouse would have to build myself and others a stage to rest on for the main event. I was not entirely happy about this since after that I would own a big wood platform to never use again. I then went online and looked up wedding stage rentals. Apparently you can rent wedding stages quite cheap. The stage can be anywhere from 740 to 1500 for the afternoon. The stage could just be a big box or have different levels. The color of the stage also could be different as well. The stage rental company was genuinely professional and they set it up on the big afternoon. It took them a few hours and up went my colorless wedding stage, what was nice is that after the ceremony and pictures, I used it as a mini dance floor for anyone feeling fun that afternoon.
