What a great surprise

When I see the news about how this is one of the worst winters that America has ever experienced, it just makes me glad that I live in the south. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the heat and humidity can be annoying at times, but I still think that 100 degrees weather is still more manageable than negative degrees weather! Even if it’s also 100% humidity. I have to wonder what kind of powerful and robust heating units people have to use in the north and midwest, where temperatures can plummet so far. I would imagine that they simply cannot afford to mess around when it comes to maintenance on those heating systems either. It certainly sounds to me like it could be a potential difference between life and death as to whether or not your heating system is working when it’s negative 30 outside. It really puts things in perspective at that point when it comes to relying on your HVAC service. The HVAC companies up there are sometimes the only thing standing between a family and an unforgivingly cold winter’s night. I feel for them and it makes me shiver, no pun intended. I suppose my HVAC guys do just as good a job of rescuing me from this heat. Without the benefit of my air conditioning system running at peak performance, I could only imagine that I may very well want to step into sub-zero temperatures, if only for a few seconds. Either way, I’m glad to be able to rely on my HVAC company to keep me comfortable.
