I find it so interesting that a/cs are not as popular as other Heating, Ventilation, and A/C units, in fact, when I spent time in a different country, I found that most locals didn’t even own an a/c, then obviously, the local buildings have a/cs.
If you wanted to recognize the comfort of an a/c, then your only option is to go to a government building… Those are easily the only buildings that are going to have a running a/c.
I was easily lucky to have rented an apartment with a laboring a/c. In our building, the people I was with and I have ductless mini-cut a/cs that allow us to control the a/cs in each room. Although other people have a/cs in their apartment, they rarely use them. Those that do use the a/cs only turn them on if their apartment is over 90 degrees. As I grew to realize that they all don’t like a/cs, I wanted to discover why. I began asking the locals what they had against a/cs. They were telling myself and others that it is unhealthy for your body to use an a/c while I was in the summer. The only safe time to use an a/c is in winter! However, since you don’t need an a/c while I was in winter, there is no need. They are also taught by their culture medicine that a/cs cause cancer all the time. In fact, they seemed to teach that a/cs are more dangerous while I was in the logical times to use an a/c, appreciate after exercise, while I was in the summer, etc.
