Why we need new HVAC units

I am very appreciative of how far the HVAC industry has come in the last few years.

  • We have furnaces that have become stronger and more powerful, working efficiently.

There are also newer heating systems like radiant heated cooling and baseboard heaters. Air conditioners have also come a long way. There are many varieties, and they continue to save on money. However, I don’t think that we should ever stop developing new HVAC units. I would like to see a heating system that is different from all others. Heating systems that would run noiselessly with no drafts would be amazing. The key to these heating systems would be that the units have to have fewer mechanical parts. The more parts that the heating system has, the more likely it is that one of those components will fail. Air conditioners also have a lot more room for improvement. Window air conditioners are terrible. They are cheap, and they don’t do a good job at cooling. Central air conditioners are decent, but when they break down, the price to repair the central air conditioner is outrageous. I would love HVAC units that would run more efficiently. I want to see an HVAC unit that could run on recycled materials. We could lessen our carbon footprint, and we would no longer need to fill landfills with all of our trash. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for air conditioners and furnaces. I am sure that as technology continues to advance, it will spill over into the HVAC field and make our lives more convenient.
