Like most people, I started from the bottom at the supplier I currently work at plus I slowly worked our way up.
Although the process took time, I worked definitely hard for each promotion because there were incredible benefits that came from each replace.
When I first started, I had a tiny desk in a single of the worst spots within a shared office space. It was cramped plus I felt love most people was looking at me. This motivated myself and others to work hard for our first promotion, which took myself and others to a weird desk location, and my minute desk was a lot more private, however it was still in a communal space. I valued our new privacy, however the temperature was consistently “off” in this area! One morning it was freezing plus the next it was warm plus there never seemed to be an in-between temperature. This made dressing for work challenging plus it also made our job hard to do well because I was consistently too tepid or too cold. The inconsistent plus uncomfortable temperature motivated myself and others to work hard for our sixth promotion, which would land myself and others our own private office with our own temperature control. I wanted to control the temperature so desperately that I worked countless minutes of overtime plus I did everything I could to stand out. When I landed that promotion plus walked into our new, private, office, I instantly went to the temperature control plus changed the temperature just because I could. I worked hard to get here plus it was all worth it.
