Working with the Sports broadcaster

At one point in my life, I wanted to be able to go to Olympics.

When I realized I was horrible at gymnastics, I changed my goal but I wanted to be able to be a broadcaster for the Olympics.

I went to school for broadcasting and I joined a debate team to learn how to speak in public. I made sure to study hard and to get excellent grades. I graduated at the top of my class and I went on to school and got a bachelor’s degree and got an internship with a local sports team. I have no idea how I went from gymnastics with a Olympic team to reporting about the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team. I didn’t even know Tampa Bay had a hockey team, when I was younger. I found out that Tampa Bay Lightning has their own small broadcasting stations for the games. They needed someone to broadcast the games for them. I was given the job and I was working with Tampa Bay hockey team. That was several years ago and I still work for the Tampa Bay hockey team. Even though I thought I would be broadcasting from the Olympics, about gymnastics, I found that I loved working with ice hockey. I didn’t know that hockey was three periods and now I get to rub elbows with the professional teams and they call me by name. It may not be gymnastics, but it is a lot more thrilling. I also made myself at home with the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team and I am glad this is where I wound up.
