ZooTampa has some really neat animal exhibits

Last Saturday was the first anniversary with my girlfriend. I wanted to take her to do something fun for the day to celebrate. I knew we would have dinner in downtown Tampa, but I thought we could spend the day at the zoo. My girlfriend recently moved to the Tampa area and she has never been to the zoo. The zoo is one place that I really love. I know a lot about the exhibits too, and I provided a lot of extra information during our walk through each exhibit. I know that my girlfriend was impressed by the look in her eyes. She was having a good time. The zoo in Tampa has one of the nicest displays of rhinoceros, tigers, Komodo dragons, and sloth bears. The entire Asian gardens exhibit has a very authentic look and feel. Even the architecture has the look and feel of authentic asian culture. My favorite exhibit is the primate section. It is nicely designed with different areas for the animals to play. There are rocks everywhere and waterfalls that stretch across the whole area. My girlfriend really enjoyed feeding the giraffes in the Safari Africa exhibit. There is a really cool place to sit down and relax, and we had lunch while we watched the elephants move around. The whole day was perfect and we had a great time spending the evening in Tampa as well. We went to a nice restaurant and walked downtown on Bayshore Boulevard. I hope my girlfriend and I will have more anniversaries that are just as nice and wonderful as our first one.
