I am flexible in my return date, so if I have to change my flight, then I will
Since I had to go away for an extended period of time, I asked my neighbor to watch over my apartment. Unfortunately, he just sent me a message stating that my heater is not working. He said he went into the apartment the other day and noticed that it was freezing cold, so he turned on the heat. However, there was no hot air coming from the vents anymore. I am going to have to contact the landlord in addition to see about getting it fixed before I come back because it is now the dead of winter, and I don’t intend to return to a freezing cold apartment with no temperature control. I have a space heater I can use, but that’s not going to be enough of a source of warmth. I have a buddy who works as a heating and cooling specialist, so I am going to ask him if he has time to go over to look at our HVAC system. I guess he will be able to figure out what the problem is because he has been working in the field for a long time, which leads me to believe he has a lot of comprehension about it. I am flexible in my return date, so if I have to change my flight, then I will. I have no intention of returning to an apartment with no heat. I’d much rather be patient and wait for the HVAC specialists to deal with the problem. I should probably schedule a general service check to avoid any additional heating and cooling issues.
