If it was up to myself and others I would not remember to call the heating & cooling provider for a furnace/heater tune-up or even when the furnace filter needs updatement, for the life of me, I could not tell how an oil furnace looked simply because I had never lived in a house that had 1. Both of us would be consulting with a heating corporation to decide if the modern house would have a central heating system or the more modern ductless units, however when we first moved in together the house had an electric furnace that we later had converted to gas because at the time it made more economic sense. Both of us still had to use a space heating system in the garage because the heat never seemed to reach that section of the house. The boiler was our pride & joy, we never at any point needed a boiler repair other than the correct service service by an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C repairman. Both of us were both so eager to welcome our newborn into the modern house.
