Aside from his constant complaints about the air conditioning, because to him it can never be cool enough, we still get along like the best of friends.
Adam and I go way back, and by that I mean all of us go all the way back; I simply cannot remember a time in our life when Adam didn’t live just up the road, or a time where all of us didn’t see each other almost every day. This trailer park is extremely tiny, it’s quiet, it’s absolutely poor, but it has always been our home, and all of us like it here. I live in our own double wide trailer, just around the corner from where I am from, that I have been sharing with Adam for the last couple of years. This guy is a bad roommate, and he always takes over the temperature control and dials it way too far down, although I still like the guy. I always tell him that if he got his own locale no 1 else could mess with the temperature control, and it could be as cool as he wanted all the time. Adam was more interested in playing the lottery than saving up his money for a brand new locale or a better air conditioning, however long story short, 1 day I come home from work to find a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier installing a big chunk of device on the top of my house. I thought it might be a Transformer, but they assured myself and others it was a top of the line Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. Adam had won several grand on a lottery scratch-off ticket, and spent the entire amount on a new AC system.
