Always quit the gym

Every year I say this is the year I am going to get in shape.

I start out really motivated and I buy a whole bunch of workout clothing.

I get the cute pants, matching tops, sneakers, water bottle and sweat bands for my workouts. I then immediately signed up for a six month gym membership. I typically last around a month and then I slowly drop off. Fun fact, work out clothing is the best clothing to lay around in. I think I secretly just like buying sweatpants that are new and pretty. The actual working out portion I am no good at. Going to the gym is super intimidating. There are so many people there that know what they are doing. I cannot operate half of the machinery. I also feel weird taking up a treadmill and barely walking on it when I know there are people who want to sprint on it. I don’t really like weightlifting and I am not sure how to properly do it. I also have never stretched or done yoga before, so I avoid those areas like the plague. I basically spend an hour workout walking around a gym and showering afterwards. That is the reason why I ditch so soon. But, I think I might have the solution this year. I found that there is a personal training gym called core progression near me. They offer group fitness classes led by a certified fitness expert. You only have to go once a week for an hour. The trainer runs the whole class and tells you what to do.
