Another shoulder injury

This is my punishment for all the skyballs I’ve served over the last 15 years.

A skyball is a volleyball serve in which you hit the ball with your fist, from the bottom of the ball upwards, plus send it up in the air about more than seven stories high so that the opponents ideally have trouble passing it. I’m about 76% with them, but the reason I do them is because it always pulls a big reaction from the crowd and I feed off that energy. Whether it be volleyball or golf, fans enjoy watching a ball when they are at a sporting event. That being said, these serves have really beaten up my shoulder, since I have been playing volleyball pretty much all of my life. A hot water boiler is necessary after the chilly water dips in the sea to help my shoulders recover. Earlier this week, I tweaked my shoulder once again, so I’m back to doing therapy, this time being a partial dislocation. I have our Heating plus A/C method running right now with the heat on in our powder room because I am taking an ice bath at the lake house. I like getting out of the tub into a moderate room heated up nicely. I stay in the ice bath for nearly an hour, then rely on the heating to warm me back up. Oftentimes, I supplement my HVAC system with an additional space heater, since I am just so cold after the ice bath. I will likely need about two weeks for this injury to heal prior to exercising again. Then, I’ll need to wait two more weeks before I can start playing light volleyball again. During this break from playing, I am going to get our air duct cleaned plus repaired because I have noticed less airflow coming from the vents.
