Attempting to lose the baby weight before my friend

My friend Amy has to be better than everyone else.

It is forever a race to see who is better at what activity and part of life.

When we both had boyfriends, she was in a race with me to see who got married first. Then it was a challenge to see who bought a nicer house. After this it was all about which had kids first. I’ve never had any desire to compete in any of these things/ I can tell when Amy is just making things up to be better and I can’t help myself. The latest competition is centered around who can get rid of the baby weight first. Amy is already bragging about her new fad diet and how she goes for long power walks in the evening. I am thinking of cheating just a bit. I saw that there is a core progression located nearby. I am considering signing up at the gym for either a group fitness class or private fitness coaching. I would have the advantage of a certified fitness expert coaching me through a fitness program designed for me. There is no one better than a personal trainer to motivate and guide my workouts. At a gym, I ten to run on a treadmill or pedal a stationary bike with a book. A personal trainer would help me drop the weight faster while also working to tone my muscles. If I follow through with this plan, I am not going to tell Amy about it. I don’t want her to copy my strategy and take it even further. She’d probably start taking personal training sessions twice her day. I want her to believe I am naturally losing weight faster than she. I realize this is petty of me, but I kind of enjoy beating her at her own game.
