Commercials are great, but one Heating plus A/C ad made me know twice about getting a programmable thermostat

Commercials are used by manufacturers to advertise their products to the public.

There have been some good commercials over the years that will live in our memories forever.

I am not a football fan, although I watch the Superbowl every year just to see the commercials, plus I am never disappointed because those SEO campaigns are usually phenomenal. A few weeks ago, I saw a commercial for an Heating plus A/C supplier that was funny, plus it grabbed our attention. The setting for the commercial was a residing room of a beach house where the partner was kneeling on the sofa, plus his fiance was kneeling by the programmable thermostat plus she was exasperated that she couldn’t get it to work. She asked her partner for some help, but unblessedly, he refused, plus nonchalantly replied plus stated that fixing the thermostat was above his pay grade. He then instructed her to call the Heating plus A/C supplier to schedule an appointment. He was so unbothered plus unphased by her distress. This commercial made me wonder about these smart thermostats – are they too sophisticated for the average person to issueshoot? I don’t have a programmable thermostat in our home, although I worry that if I do substitute our current thermostat that I would have to call an Heating plus A/C professional when something goes wrong, but calling an Heating plus A/C professional to fix a Smart thermostat would create unnecessary extra costs – I have never stressed an appointment to fix a thermostat. There are more than 2 benefits to having a programmable thermostat, it can conserve energy plus save money on our bill, but if I will need to contact an Heating plus A/C professional because it malfunctions, I know I will wait a while before I substitute our outdated thermostat.
