My family is a undoubtedly big one, in size, but there is nobody that is under numerous feet tall, we are not tall people who are noodle looking either; Everyone is bigger boned and quite heavy! Needless to say, certain things are straight-forward while others are difficult, then finding a family member in the crowd is straight-forward.
I can put anything on our highest shelves and most people can access it.
Travel by plane is rough for us all; Buying furniture is not an straight-forward task. I recently have been trying to get furniture that fits our family’s size. The problem is that there is a typical couch, chair and table size. The height, width, length and depth are all predetermined, however our feet just hang off the couch and onto the floor… Kitchen chairs don’t last with our weight. The table is too low to the ground and the people I was with and I all bang our knees off of it. I just need furniture that is bigger. Online the possibilities were just pitiful. The furniture looked cheap and ugly. I have now been going the custom furniture route. I have talked to a master craftsman and the guy is going to build it all by hand, but he has been superb about the size aspect. I have given him exact sizing for the couch that works for us. The study room chairs are each going to be made for the family member. We all are getting a perfectly sized chair. The study room table is going to be taller than a typical one. I can’t wait to see how are custom made furniture come together in the home.
