Dealing with another injury

I am dealing with another shoulder injury.

I have been taking ice baths on a daily basis to try to accelerate the recovery process.

When I am in the ice bath, I use my smart thermostat to make sure my heating preferences are all the way up. I like to come out of the bathroom and sit in my warm and toasty bedroom, as I am usually freezing after an ice bath. In fact, I usually will turn on a space heater before I even get into the ice bath, just to try to add some additional heat to the room. During this process of alternating between ice baths and warming up, I’ve noticed that there doesn’t seem to be as much air coming from the vents. I’ve decided to hire someone to come clean the ductwork, so at least this injury has brought that HVAC problem to my attention. I can’t even feel sorry for myself because this is what I get for always choosing to serve skyballs. A skyball is a volleyball serve in which I hit the ball with my fist, from the bottom of the ball upwards, and send it up in the air about thirty feet high so that the opponents ideally have trouble passing it. I’m about 74% with them and I adore doing them because it is a crowd pleaser. People enjoy tracking balls in athletic interests, watching them fly through the air, be it tennis, golf, volleyball, etc. But this has had quite the effect on my shoulder, as I have been playing volleyball for well over two decades. A hot water boiler is necessary after the cold water dips in the sea to help heal our shoulders. I reckon I need about two weeks to heal this injury before I can start exercising again and then maybe another two weeks before I can start playing light volleyball again.
