We’ve been trying to put an addition on our cabin for the past three years but it hasn’t ever seemed to be the right time.
This fall, both of us ended up with a lot of extra money because our partner got a large bonus check at work. Before both of us spent it on other things love a new car or a family getaway, both of us decided to go ahead plus put on the addition to the cabin while both of us still had all that money. However, both of us ended up having some troubles with our Heating as well as Air Conditioning contractor who was tying the addition into our existing heating plus cooling plan for us. Every one of us couldn’t decide if both of us wanted to use our existing Heating as well as Air Conditioning plan or put in an additional Heating as well as Air Conditioning unit for the addition. If both of us did use an additional heating plus , both of us would have multiple bizarre oil gas furnaces plus multiple bizarre cooling system units for bizarre parts of the house. While I love the idea of zone control heating plus cooling, I thought that the cost of this Heating as well as Air Conditioning plan would end up being more than if both of us tied the new HVAC duct in with our old HVAC duct. The Heating as well as Air Conditioning contractor explained to us that our old oil furnace plus cooling system would have a hard time keeping up with the demand to heat plus cool all of the new space that both of us were building on.
