I have an old friend staying in our hometown for a few months, so I reached out and asked if he had time to grab lunch and catch up.
- I know he has a lot of friends and family in town that he wants to see, so I wasn’t sure that he’d have the time for it.
However I live pretty close to where he is staying, so I thought I’d reach out. The two of us ended up meeting for lunch earlier this week. We chatted for a few hours. He told me all about his crypto investment nightmare. He happened upon some money and put all of it into crypto just to watch three quarters of it disappear over the course of a year. I felt kind of guilty following that up by talking about my success in the Heating plus A/C industry, as I own my own Heating plus A/C company with a ton of purchasers. Maybe I could give my old friend some work doing some air conditioner tune ups or something along those lines. He’s pretty great at repairing the Heating plus A/C equipment. In fact, he has about 10 years of experience working in the HVAC field. We actually used to work together right out of high school. Of course, that was before he moved halfway across the world. I mean, this man really seems to be living his dream life, excluding the financial loss. He mentioned that he’d be in town for another month or two. I just might reach out and say I need a hand at my HVAC company to help him out. Of course, I’ll have to catch him up on some new HVAC technology, but that shouldn’t be much of a problem.
