When both of us first moved into our home, both of us appreciated the idea that both of us had a basement that was heated and air conditioned.
We appreciated having the area for the adolescents to play in.
When they got older, both of us could send them to the basement send them to the basement, so both of us didn’t have to hear their loud songs. They had anniversary parties downstairs, even though their anniversarys were in the winter. Having heating downstairs made it much easier. My guys used to camp out in the basement during the summer. They would have sleepovers since both of us had A/C and they didn’t need to worry about bugs or wild creatures. Now, our children are grown and out of the house. Neither our hubby nor I ever use the basement. We have an occasional Christmas celebration, however it would be nice to be able to turn off the heating and A/C until both of us are ready to use the basement. A couple weeks ago, I called the Heating and A/C corporation to see what both of us could do about the heating and A/C. They told us they could install Zone Control, just care about was in the rest of the house. We would be able to shut off the air vents and turn the thermostats down low. Now both of us don’t have to waste the energy for heating and A/C a space that isn’t used. It’s nice to believe that if both of us need the heating or A/C, it is going to be there. I’m ecstatic that I have the occasion to have the Heating and A/C running or not to have the Heating and A/C running.
