My animal enjoys sleeping next to my small portable space furnace in the Wintertide as the apartment can be quite cold.
I know the floors are chilly on my cat’s feet and they appreciate it when they warm them up next to the heating device.
They seem to stay pretty moderate for the most part, but when it gets under the chilly temp the cats need a little extra boost to stay warm. They come into my home office around 1 am and nestle next me when I sleep to stay moderate and to keep me warm. I sleep with no heating in my room as I appreciate it is chilly there and I sleep better without any style of heating unit to keep me warm. I appreciate to pile a bunch of blankets on top of me plus that pretty much warms me up even on the coldest of winter afternoons. I don’t have radiant floors plus in the afternoon I have to wear wool socks because the floors are ice cold and it feels like you are walking on a frozen lake. I was thinking about getting them but when I heard how much they cost I opted for a pair of mom’s homemade wool knitted socks. I know the socks do a great job of warming up my feet plus they also save me a lot of money on potential heating costs. The rates for heating plus cooling the condo have gone up too high so creative measures are necessary. I will go wipe the HEPA filter in my oil furnace now plus get out of here.
