Growing up as a child, my Grandmother moved in to reside with us when I was young.
I always enjoyed having our Grandmother residing with us, plus when she passed away, the dwelling felt seriously boring plus empty without her wonderful energy.
Now that I am quite a bit older and my mother is getting older too, I have invited my mother to move in with my wife plus I. At the very beginning, I was expecting this to be a very enjoyable transition just like it was several years back. That has not been the case though. Both of us are extremely frustrated, as my mother cannot stand the residence being over 71 degrees! Whenever the temperature goes above that particular mark, she seems to feel as though she is going to collapse from heat stroke because of how awful the a/c machine is. I cannot even count the amount of times she has reached out to the Heating and A/C machine corporation behind my back to try and schedule any type of service maintenance that happens to be needed. Along with having to deal with a power struggle for the a/c machine, my mother’s hearing isn’t all that great. That means whenever you wanted to tell her something or she wants to listen to her jams, it is always going to be very loud. I am starting to sound entirely deranged to people at my workplace plus on the street as well because I am so used to having to yell from talking to my mother at our residence. If I could do it all over again however, I would have my mother stay with us all over again. I know it’s not great always, but she is still my mother and I really do care for her!
