I found a hole in the ductwork above our kitchen

The interior hot and cold temperatures in our kitchen are always warmer than the rest of the house.

The kitchen is situated all the way on the other side of the house, a enjoyable distance from the heating and cooling machine.

Still, I should have plenty of air flow in the kitchen. It’s the only room in the whole house that has numerous AC air vents. When I observed a major complication with the kitchen hot and cold temperatures, I wanted to check to see if the issue was with the ductwork. When there are holes in the ductwork, air can escape into the attic instead of into the house where it is used to cool the locale down. I bought a thermometer and I put it in our kitchen. I evaluated the air 3 nights in a row and our kitchen was 7° warmer than the rest of the house on all numerous nights. I realized there was some type of major complication and that is when I decided to go into the attic to look at our heating and cooling components. I made sure it was dark in the attic when I started looking at the ductwork. It made it much easier to see any potential holes. When I got close to the section above our kitchen, I found the complication in the ductwork. One of the pieces of ductwork was not even linked to the rest of the ventilation system. Air was escaping and dust and dirt was entering the plan through the hole. I grabbed some gray duct tape from the garage and carefully put the ductwork back.
