I have baseboard heating, & I particularly don’t care for it.
I had no plan how bad baseboard heating was when I first decided to buy a home that had it.
I had never heard of baseboard heating before. When I was inspecting this home that I was planning to buy, I observed vents on the floor, & I was interested. At first, I thought that the home had a radiator that had baseboard heating, but I was informed that I was mistaken. Instead, the home had tons of baseboard furnaces in the house. Each room had its own baseboard heater, & each gas furnace had a separate thermostat. This meant that all of our children could adjust the thermostat to their own preferred heat. However, I found out later that I don’t care for electric baseboard heating. Why? First of all, baseboard heating is truly high-priced. My electric bill is nearly twice as high-priced as anyone in our village’s electric bill. Although these furnaces are truly cheap to replace & install, the cost for running one of these gas furnaces is similar to a space heater, which is outrageous. Another reason that I do not love baseboard gas furnaces is the individual thermostats. My children are constantly increasing the thermostats & costing myself and others even more money. The baseboard gas furnaces also ensure that I can only put our furniture in particular spots unless I want a fire. If I would have known how concernsome baseboard furnaces are, I would have never obtained this house. Now, I am stuck with the gas furnaces forever unless I want to totally remodel our house.
