I love my church, but I don't like freezing cold A/C

I love my local church.

I love to sing and to fellowship with my fellow church members and listen to a good message.

I love everything about church life and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I have a support network of friends that are more like family, thanks to being a member of this church. We also do what we can to benefit the community. There is something really special about all of that. However, there is one aspect of going to the church that I would rather do without. The air conditioner within the sanctuary is always on full blast. Ultimately, no matter the weather outside nor the temperature, I have to come to church services all bundled up. Otherwise, it will be so cold that my teeth will end up chattering and I will get goosebumps. Something’s not right with that. I have occasionally asked around, and there are actually a lot of people who feel the same way. It seems a lot of us have been suffering in silence under the ruthless blast of air conditioner. There was a time when I didn’t feel that this was an important subject to bring up to the pastoral staff. However, I think it is high time that our voices were heard. They are even sparing with the heating system during the winter time, so it is basically always cold inside that church. Maybe the pastor and some others like it to be freezing cold, but we certainly don’t. I’ll bring it up to the pastor myself if I have to, and I’m sure he will be accommodating.
