I received the wrong exercise equipment three days before the grand opening

The owner of the company where I work decided to open a second exercise studio on the other side of town. The exercise studio focuses on rehabilitative health. We have a lot of specialty exercise equipment that focuses on rehabilitative health. When the owner decided to open the second studio, we had three weeks to get everything ready. He wanted to open and time for the one-year anniversary of our first exercise studio. The building had a facelift in the first 72 hours. People worked around the clock in order to fix all of the problems with the electric, HVAC system, and plumbing. There were a lot of tasks that needed to be completed before we could order exercise equipment for the studio. When I finally had the opportunity to order the items, I knew they were going to arrive very close to the grand opening date. I only had a couple of days to spare, but the warehouse was backed up and I had to wait. 3 days before the grand opening celebration, I received the items from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, they sent the wrong exercise equipment to the studio. We didn’t have any of the specialty equipment that we would normally carry and our grand opening celebration didn’t go as planned. The place looked empty without everything we needed. When one person runs behind or has a problem, the entire system is shut down. The equipment arrived three days after the celebration and grand opening. The whole fiasco was quite a nightmare. We shouldn’t have rushed the grand opening in the first place.
