One of my greatest strengths is also my greatest weakness, however i’m fiercely independent, which comes with a list of great and bad attributes, for starters, I don’t need to rely on other people to do anything for me. I can lead a group of people to success or simply get things done on my own… Professionally, this is amazing! However, my independance gets me in a lot of unnecessary trouble sometimes, because I hate asking for help. I would much rather fail at a job alone than ask someone for help, but this has proven to be a horrible quality as a homeowner. The other week, my A/C started acting funny. I was hearing strange noises rattling around, and the air wasn’t cooling low enough for my liking; No matter what temperature I set my temperature control to, the air would never reach that temperature, despite running all day. I knew my utility bill that month was going to be high, although I didn’t want to ask anyone for help, and my sibling and dad would’ve helped me maintenance whatever was wrong with my A/C, although I was stubborn and didn’t want to admit defeat. I tried doing some Heating, Ventilation and A/C research on my own, but it left me even more confused. Instead, I bit the bullet and called the local Heating, Ventilation and A/C dealer for an appointment. Thankfully, they were able to squeeze me in that day, and an Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman came to maintenance my a/c. The serviceman said I just needed to upgrade my air filter, and the appointment could’ve been avoided if I’d just upgraded it myself. I hate that I had to pay that much money because of how independent I am.
