If you are stressed about trying to remember to pay bills, most services now have what they call auto pay.
Where they will auto charge your bank account every month without you having to think about it. If you are someone who is poor or lives paycheck to paycheck this may not be a great idea for you as it could cause your bank account to overdraw at times or write a bounced electronic check. However, if you are doing ok for yourself and want to avoid the forgetful stress, then sign up for it. I recently signed up for auto pay with my local heating and air conditioning company. I have a monthly payment plan with them for the zoned heating and cooling system I just invested in, and I will be paying monthly for the next 5 years. It is a really great plan. However I always worry about forgetting to pay it and getting in trouble for that. So I was so relieved to find out that they had auto pay at the local heating and air conditioning company available to me. They are the first heating and air conditioning company to offer such a thing in my local area. No other heating and air conditioning company to date has offered auto pay. It is either pay everything up front, pay in cold hard cash, or manually pay using your credit card every month, which is where the forgetfulness comes in. So I am very grateful for this new auto pay option with the HVAC company!
