A major part of the reason the people I was with and I got a bigger lake residence was so that I could have a study, a room to call my own… As the dad, your own personal section usually gets lost. I easily have four daughters plus a partner, so I had not had a personal section to call my own in well over a decade. Finally I had a room, which would be a study and a man cave, plus all mine. I was planning to have custom LED strip lighting around the baseboards to start with, a huge plasma screen tv on the wall, a plush sofa plus chair combo. I also was hoping to get a dedicated air conditioner for the room, so I didn’t have to depend on the central Heating plus Air Conditioning machine of the residence. With numerous opinionated people in the lake residence (meaning my partner plus youngsters) I couldn’t risk them running amuck over the thermostat while I was tucked away in my study. I mean, it was alright for them to use the thermostat, however I didn’t want that to impede on my own private time. By acquiring this small, portable cooling machine I don’t have to be bothered about my personal comfort ever again. The thing is tiny enough to fit under the actual Coffee table, plus powerful enough for cooling down the whole room in a matter of hours. It’s not easily strong enough for cooling off a whole residence, however it doesn’t have to be — it fits my needs. Perhaps it’s a little too perfect, because I have found I need to put the little cooling machine in the far corner, or it will make my legs feel incredibly cold.
