My wife on the other hand is a recent graduate in nursing college plus had trouble finding work in our small town. When she landed the modern job out west, every one of us were both ecstatic. I mentioned for years I wanted a change of pace plus thought this would be a perfect option for us to beginning a modern life in a modern place neither of us had ever even stepped foot in. It was also going to be the first time either of us had lived in a medium sized city. The people I was with and I both had grown up plus lived in that same small midwest hamlet our entire lives. What every one of us soon discovered was that rent rates in our modern city were unbelievably higher than back home. Whereas before every one of us could rent a more than one family room home on our income alone, every one of us were now restricted to apartments only. It wasn’t the perfect solution, however every one of us now had a option to save from more than one incomes instead of one, so every one of us decided to stick it out. One pressing problem we’re having is how the a/c was installed. It is housed in a pressing closet that also contains our water heating system plus our washer plus dryer. The heat from both of those components warm up the a/c to the point where our electric bill is as high in this small house as it was back loft in our old house. I guess that every one of us will have to find a modern house when our lease is up, because every one of us can’t even afford to save a little each month with living costs as high as they are now.
