I was definitely not super sheltered as a child, so I have consistently wondered why I am so naive and gullible.
I suppose it is just my personality.
I do not tend to know things through which easily makes it taxing for myself and others to get things done in a timely manner. I system so various things in a afternoon, although I never easily take the time to consider how long those individual jobs will take myself and others to do, so I do not end up finishing anything that I planned to finish in a afternoon, and my spouse is a detail person, so he has helped myself and others a lot, however cleaning was one of those things that I never thought about in detail. I cleaned the blatant things care about the home office, bathroom, family room, family room, etc., although I never thought about things care about the oil furnace and air conditioning. The air conditioning in our apartment was starting to stink a little bit last summer, so my spouse asked myself and others when the last time I had cleaned it was, and I was silent. I had never even thought about cleaning the air conditioning… He was not surprised that I had never cleaned it, so he showed myself and others how to wash the filter which both of us ended up just replacing because it was so bad. The air conditioning was nothing compared to the oil furnace; Once both of us finished cleaning the air conditioning, he asked if I had ever cleaned the oil furnace, and again, my answer was “no.” The two of us cleaned that together, and it took a few minutes because it was so dirty. I now have cleaning the HVAC units on my twice a year cleaning list.
