Our heating system is stuck in the on position for some reason and I don’t know why.
It’s almost 85 degrees in the house and it’s still going.
My house literally feels like the inside of a rainforest, and it’s only getting hotter at this point. I don’t really know what to do. I mean, I guess I could probably figure out how to unplug the entire heating system, but the fact remains that the temperatures outside are in the teens. It’s too cold outside, but it’s too hot inside! I have the weirdest most random things happen to me when it comes to my house. This heating situation reminds me of the time my kitchen door got stuck and I couldn’t get out of my house except through the door in the basement. That was awful, too, since I had to bring in the groceries that way! It seems like there is always something going wrong around here! This heating situation is a new one for me, though. It’s freezing outside, yet I have the windows open because it’s stifling inside of my house. I called up our local HVAC company and told them what was going on. The guy who answered the phone actually laughed at me and said that he had never heard of this problem before! I just sighed, shook my head, and made an appointment. I just have to get through the next 24 hours and then hopefully the HVAC technicians will arrive and put me out of my misery. I don’t know if I can make it!
