Occasionally working out schedules can be particularly daunting, when you are married to an HVAC specialist. It’s one of those things I have learned the difficult way, after being married to a heating and cooling systems specialist for the past 20 years. We have had to learn how to work things out between us over the years. He is always working whenever I think that he shouldn’t, despite the fact that he consistently says he can’t help it. I think he has to go to work whenever his boss says that he has to, but occasionally I think that he volunteers to go in. Occasionally, I think he opts to work to avoid family celebrations, especially when it’s something we are supposed to be doing with our family. I think that he isn’t worried about getting out of some of the family dinners and parties that my side of the family has every now and then. I’m sure heating and cooling systems specialists have to be on call once in a while, so I usually just let it go whenever he says he has to work. I try to stay out of it, and I try not to fight with him about it, unless I just can’t help it. But the scheduling thing is difficult occasionally. Heating and cooling systems specialists have to work a lot of hours, and we have to plan around that a lot.
