During the summer, I have a truly difficult time sleeping, it gets reallyoverheatedin my apartment, despite the fact that the AC runs all day & all evening.
I suppose it’s because my apartment is on the top floor of our building; My friend typically complains about the heat too, & both of us have been living next door to each other for 6 years, then during the hottest afternoons of the year, the AC unit typically struggles.
My friend & I have spoken with the apartment building supervisor on various occasions, however they insist that our AC is just fine. I know that is not the case, because it feels much weird on the second floor, then it does on the first floor. My bestie lives in the same apartment building, even though she is on the first floor… She does not even have to set the AC undoubtedly cold, & her apartment feels nicer than mine. I don’t know what both of us can do to help the AC labor more efficiently, & both of us have tried a couple of things. My friend & I cleaned the air vents & the HVAC duct, & both of us even change the air filter frequently. I suppose it’s an issue that both of us cannot fix, & that means the apartment building supervisor should be able to help. If I could hire an AC company to look at the problem, I would, and unfortunately, they will not even come out to look at the system, because it is an apartment building. I suppose it becomes a liability issue, since it’s technically a commercial property & not residential.
