The Air Conditioner Needed to be Replaced

The thought of having my air conditioning system replaced intimidated me, but I knew that I had to do it.

My HVAC technician was concerned about my energy usage and the state of the equipment.

The manufacturer date of my air conditioning system was over a decade old, so it didn’t make sense to keep it. The energy I was spending every month was higher than normal and the repairs were adding up. It didn’t make financial sense to overpay for these expenses when I could just buy a new air conditioning system. The new air conditioning system would be expensive upfront, but over the long haul, it was cheaper than spending extra money on utility expenses and repairs. I understood the HVAC technician’s reasoning and I agreed that it needed to be done. However, I didn’t know the first thing about air conditioning units or how to even purchase one. The HVAC technician assured me that he could do it all. The company was also offering free estimates, so it wouldn’t cost me anything to get a quote. Not only this, but if I purchased a new air conditioning unit with them, the installation would be free! I was very happy to hear this because installation costs could add up and you never truly knew how much a company was going to charge. After talking to my HVAC technician, he made me feel more confident about having my air conditioner replaced. I knew it needed to be done, I just wish I wouldn’t have waited so long.
