Every so often, a customer becomes distraught when they hear news that is not good… I have been in the same position plus I know it is a major blow to receive awful news. A few weeks ago, my boss sent myself and others to a residential AC maintenance assignment. I went to the same address quite a few months previously to work on another complication with the AC appliance. The component was approximately 9 years seasoned plus I made the suggestion that they should replace the air compressor at that time. The customer did not have the money to replace the a/c appliance, so every one of us did our best to make the repair. I went to the same address to find the same setback once again. This time, an actual repair could not be made plus I told the customer that the air compressor needed to be replaced. The guy was actually miserable plus distraught plus he instantly accused myself and others of destroying the machine. I tried to politely explain the issues with the AC appliance, however he wasn’t absolutely listening to anything I was trying to say. After about 10 minutes of arguing with the customer about the price for the air compressor, he eventually decided to pay the bill for the estimate plus said that he would call several sites to find a lower price. Just recently, the same guy called again plus he was hoping to get a quote for a new air compressor installation. I knew he would come back, we have the finest prices plus equally great service. We even meet any other prices plus then chop it by 10 percent. It would be shocking for the guy not to use our services.
