After settling down in my new apartment, I hastily realized that the Summer heat would be unbearable.
There was no central air conditioner in my home, so I bought a portable a/c instead.
After multiple visits to the doctor because of not feeling well, the doctor asked if there was something different in my life. I told him that I just moved into a new site. He asked if there were any differences in the air quality or maybe mold in the house. I told him no mold however the only thing is that there is no central air conditioner so I had to buy a portable a/c. He asked if I had it cleaned out because bacteria can be formed due to dirty air filters. I didn’t know this at all in addition to I wondered if this was the issue all along. Technically, I did buy my portable a/c from a private seller in addition to I’m sure it was just collecting dust before I got it from him. So I went apartment in addition to looked at it in addition to sure enough, the air filters were gross. The doctor was right in addition to I knew what I had to do. It was cleaning time because I’m sick in addition to exhausted of being sick. After a thorough cleaning of the portable a/c, I turned it on in addition to I was pretty exhausted, so I went to bed. The next day I felt a bit better in addition to the cool air from the portable a/c didn’t bother me one bit. I know going forward I should check on these air filters, legitimately once a week for now so I don’t get sick again.
