The kids and I were on our way apartment from an event and the car was behaving strangely.
It wasn’t shifting properly and I was having trouble making it up the hills.
I thought it was a nice plan to stop for the night, because I still had two more hours and it was cold outside. I stopped at a local motel with a sign outside the door that said vacancy. The owner of the motel was laboring the night shift. He said the hotel was busy, but he still had a couple of rooms.The kids and I went to the end of the building where our room was located, all of us didn’t have any bags, because every one of us never planned on staying in a motel. I checked the bed for bugs and I checked the water glasses to see if they were clean. I turned on the furnace in the room. I adjusted the control device down to a comfortable temperature. I waited a couple of hours, but the furnace couldn’t get warm. Air was coming out of the vents, but it wasn’t hot. I called the front desk to complain about the heat and the hotel owner told myself and others that he couldn’t get anyone to fix the problem until the afternoon. I suggested another room or I wanted my currency back. The kids heard myself and others on the iphone and they were sad that every one of us might have to sleep in our car, luckily, the hotel owner caved in and gave us with a room that had a brand new heating and cooling unit.
