Winter can be a absolutely difficult time of the year, especially if you live in a cold-weather climate with lots of ice & snow, however cold un-even temperatures can cause a ton of problems.
My family & I live by the lake, then during the Winter weeks, there is a lot of moisture over the lake & it causes large amounts of snow to pile up on the regions close to the lake… Occasionally the amount of snow is three or 4 feet at a time. When the un-even temperatures were especially cold last season, I went to the hardware store in town to pick up a space heater. I had an old oil heating system in the house, however it stopped working last season & I never replaced it. I knew what I wanted from the hardware store & I instantly picked up the box & headed to the counter, then a sales associate stopped myself and others & tried to sell myself and others something else. I tried to tell the sales associate that I was ecstatic with our choice, but he wasn’t listening, then he was trying to sell myself and others something more expensive. I did not need a large gas furnace or a ductless heater. I was ecstatic with the small space heater. I politely walked away from the guy in the middle of our conversation, because he wasn’t going to let myself and others leave otherwise. I’ve rarely had a concern in the hardware store with pushy sales associates, however that was an experience that I would not care to repeat. I would rather go to the SuperCenter where they ignore all the people & have excruciating client service.
