I swear, I will never get used to the weather around here.
I thought I was accustomed to wildly varying climates following my upbringing in the chaotic midwest, however it turns out my up-to-date region is just as unpredictable. I feel like every afternoon my friend and I go through at least two shifts in the air temperature as well as condition outdoors. It might start out sunny as well as bright, however by noon it’ll be torrentially raining as well as dark. The temperature shifts with the wind as well as relative humidity, as well as there seems to be no way to predict these wild swings. This is exactly what happened last week, when my friend and I hastily switched from summer time temperatures to the dead of fall within a few hours. The week had been sunny as well as warm, with mediocre relative humidity as well as a gentle breeze. The air temperature was perfect for outdoor activities, dresses, as well as light layers, as well as my friend and I were soaking up the last charming afternoons of summer; however, my friend and I had no idea that our great weather was drawing to a close, but by Wednesday the temperature had suddenly dropped over 30 degrees, as well as the outdoor air conditions were particularly different. It was cold as well as wet enough that our indoor air was also affected, as well as my friend and I desperately wanted to fire up the furnace. The only problem was, the weather shifted so suddenly that my friend and I didn’t have the opportunity to have our central heating machine ran tests on yet, so the furnace was inoperable! The HVAC supplier couldn’t come out for at least a week, so we’ve been trapped using electric space heaters throughout our cabin ever since.
