My wife and I live in a rural area, we have been living in the same place for nearly ten years now.
It all started many years ago when we had first met.
At the time we both lived in the city, and even though we were both stuck in a small and damp apartment we had big dreams of one day getting married and moving out to the country to own our own piece of land. My wife, who was then my girlfriend at the time, grew up in a rural area, however she left to pursue some better jobs in the city. Even though she seemed happy enough with her job, she talked all the time about how she missed the wildness of living in a rural area and she wanted to go back. As for me, I had never been in a rural area, however I was sick of the noise and the crowds of the big city. It had become nothing more than noise pollution and the sounds would keep me awake at night. We knew we were perfect for each other and only dated for six months before marrying. Together we put our money together to buy our little dream home. We are so much happier out here, the only downside is when regular maintenance repairs come up, like it did last week with our HVAC system, it is hard to get anyone out here, since it is only a few hours drive from the nearest city. Thankfully, we were lucky enough to find a mobile heating and cooling business to come out to our place. We have a central air conditioner and an older gas furnace, and while they worked fine, we wanted to have any necessary upgrades and tune-ups done. If it wasn’t for the mobile HVAC business, it would be much harder for us to get our heating and cooling system the care it needs.
